PESTO: Walnut Pesto

Condiments and Sauces

Ingredients

  • 3 cups basil leaves
  • 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Traditional Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Puree the ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately as a bread dipper or pasta sauce, or cover and refrigerate.
